Amplified Impact Partners is celebrating its 25th anniversary year with a brand new home in Sorrento Valley. Since its founding in 2001, the organization has helped to strengthen more than 180 nonprofits across San Diego County, offering pro bono consulting and connections from a network of highly experienced professionals.

The organization recently relocated from Old Town to the more centrally positioned Sorrento Valley site, giving Amplified a larger presence in North County. An open house event was held on Aug. 26.

“As we kick off our 25th anniversary year, we’re opening the doors to a new chapter of what it means to support San Diego’s nonprofits, and quite literally opening the doors to a space where that work can happen,” said Del Mar resident Erica Halpern, chief executive officer of Amplified Impact Partners. “This space gives nonprofits and our Partners a place to meet, collaborate, and turn ideas into action.”

According to a news release, the new Sorrento Valley space is designed to be a hub for nonprofit leaders, Partner consultants, and supporters to meet, collaborate and build impact together. Local organizations have already put the space to use for meetings, forums and networking events.

Last year Amplified had its most impactful year to date, with more than 60 nonprofit consulting teams in action. The organization recently announced the addition of seven new Partner consultants to its roster. The Partners bring expertise in technology and operations leadership, behavioral health and education, executive coaching, and decades of nonprofit and media executive experience across public broadcasting, philanthropy and social enterprise.

“Few things inspire me more than seeing talented people choose to put their experience to work in service of nonprofits across our region,” Halpern said in the news release. “Each of our Partners brings deep, hard-won expertise and a genuine commitment to strengthening our community. Their willingness to invest their time and talent will help us carry this work forward into our next 25 years.”
