ALEXANDRIA PAPASAVAS

Alexandria Papasavas is an accounting professional with 20 years of experience, specializing in nonprofit and private foundation financial management. Ten years ago, she began focusing her career on serving mission-driven organizations both locally and nationwide. In 2019, she founded Bohio Accounting, where she works closely with nonprofits, private foundations, and businesses across the United States, providing expertise in financial management, compliance, and strategic operations. Her client portfolio includes the Digital Harbor Foundation in Baltimore, the Last Mile Education Fund, the La Jolla Symphony and Chorus, and the Dr. Seuss Foundation.

Papasavas is deeply committed to community service and has supported nonprofits and private foundations through both professional and volunteer roles. She has served on the board of Mountain Meadow Equine Rescue and Rehabilitation Center, guiding the organization through its intended closure in 2024. She also regularly provides pro bono and in-kind consulting to nonprofits, offering expertise in accounting, compliance, and operational planning.

Academically, Papasavas has explored a wide range of subjects from anthropology to philosophy before pursuing an entrepreneurial path at age 22, launching her first company, and setting the foundation for a career rooted in business ownership and innovation.

Outside of her professional work, Papasavas enjoys spending time with her family, gardening, and visiting the beach. She is an avid learner who values reading and online education courses. Living in San Diego provides her with daily opportunities to enjoy the outdoors, explore new places, and embrace the many experiences her community offers.
