NIKKI PHAIR

Nikki Phair is an operations leader with more than 15 years of experience helping organizations strengthen organizational effectiveness. As Director of Operations at Prebys Foundation, she partners with executive leadership to build the governance, systems and organizational infrastructure that enable mission-driven work to thrive, spanning enterprise operations, technology, human resources, compliance and risk management. Previously, as Chief Administrative Officer for a multi-entity real estate organization, she led cross-functional operations supporting growth and business strategy. She recently completed LEAD San Diego's Impact program and is a member of several professional organizations, and she co-launched a local San Diego Operations Leaders Network to foster collaboration across the nonprofit operations community.

Service has been a consistent thread throughout Phair's life. In college, she held leadership roles in a student organization dedicated to community engagement and social impact. She later volunteered on international community health initiatives and spent several years as a tutor and site coordinator with UPLIFT's Kids at Heart Program, supporting students in underserved San Diego communities. During her MBA, she participated in volunteer consulting engagements for nonprofit and social impact organizations, providing strategic research and recommendations, and most recently, through LEAD San Diego's Leadership Action Team, she advised a local nonprofit on a strategic real estate initiative.

Phair earned an MBA from UCLA with concentrations in Entrepreneurship and Real Estate, with additional coursework in Social Impact. She holds a Project Management Certificate from USD and a B.A. in Sociology from CSULB with an emphasis in Social Change and Global Issues,

Outside of work, Phair recharges through hiking, backpacking, camping and travel. She enjoys musical theater, reading fiction and creative outlets like painting and crafts, and especially values time with family, whether singing with her dad while he plays guitar or making memories with her nieces and nephews.
