DANIEL REYNOLDS

Daniel Reynolds is a corporate finance and accounting executive with more than three decades of experience working with senior management teams, boards of directors, investors, financial institutions, auditors and legal advisers. As executive vice president and Chief Financial Officer of Jerome’s Furniture, he oversees financial reporting, internal controls, financing, risk management, business planning and information technology. Previously, Reynolds spent 30 years as vice president and CFO of Calloway’s Nursery, guiding the company through its startup, initial public offering, turnaround, mergers and acquisitions, and recapitalization. He began his career at KPMG LLP, providing accounting, audit, IT and management consulting services.
Reynolds is a CPA and an active leader with Financial Executives International and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He has held several volunteer leadership roles with Financial Executives International, including president of the San Diego chapter, past president of the Fort Worth chapter and vice president of programs. He is also a founding member of the San Diego CFO Forum through the Renaissance Executive Forum. In addition, Reynolds has served his church for more than 20 years as treasurer, elder and deacon.
Reynolds earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Texas at Arlington, along with a master’s degree in accounting and an MBA from the same university. He became a Certified Public Accountant in Texas in 1985 and has maintained his license throughout his career.
Outside of work, Reynolds is committed to fitness and is certified as a personal trainer and nutrition coach. He enjoys classical and jazz music, golf and wine tasting.
