KAREN TRISSEL

Karen Trissel started her career in brand management at General Mills and held executive positions at Jack in the Box as VP, Brand Strategy & Product Development and as Chief Insights & Analytics Officer. As a consultant, Trissel’s engagements focused on strategic planning, brand strategy and consumer insights. She worked with a diverse range of clients, including retailers, fast-casual restaurants, packaged goods brands, and non-profits. She led numerous strategy projects for non-profits across the sector, including human services, youth development, arts, environment and community development.
Trissel has served on the boards of Every Monday Matters, Jack in the Box Foundation, and Solana Beach Foundation for Learning and is on Amplifed’s Partnership Committee.
Trissel received her undergraduate degree in Business Administration from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo and her MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management.
In her spare time, Trissel enjoys pottery and traveling.
