PHILOMENA WALSH

Philomena Walsh is a senior marketing leader with more than 20 years of experience developing and executing marketing strategies and campaigns to drive brand awareness and revenue growth. She specializes in strategic planning, understanding target audiences, and creating messages and content across marketing channels to drive engagement.

Philomena also has more than 10 years of experience in sales and sales management, including roles with Encad Wide Format Printing and the Office Imaging Division of Eastman Kodak Company.

In the nonprofit sector, Philomena has served for more than six years as a board member of the San Diego Children’s Choir, where she led the External Affairs Committee responsible for marketing, public relations, and development activities. She also co-led the organization’s strategic planning process across two multi-year planning cycles. In addition, she served as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) for three years with Voices for Children in San Diego.

Philomena holds an MBA from San Diego State University with an emphasis in marketing, and a BS in Business Management from San Francisco State University. She has also completed UC San Diego’s Introduction to Fundraising and Development course.

Philomena comes from a big family including six siblings, a growing crew of nieces and nephews, and her husband. Outside of work and volunteering, she enjoys body surfing, biking, hiking, yoga, reading, cooking (and eating), travel, and soaking up culture — especially music and concerts.
