Coastal Roots Farm in Encinitas and Casa de Amistad in Solana Beach are among 17 nonprofit organizations selected for a new round of consulting support from San Diego-based Amplified Impact Partners.

Amplified announced Thursday, Oct. 8, that it is launching 17 consulting engagements this fall, the largest single cycle in its 25-year history, according to the organization. The teams will work with nonprofit leaders on projects intended to strengthen organizational capacity, address strategic challenges and support long-term sustainability.

The broader group represents organizations working in areas including housing and economic opportunity, youth development, services for older adults and families, arts and music, environmental sustainability, and immigrant and refugee communities.

Amplified stated that its partner consultants are experienced professionals who volunteer their time and expertise to help nonprofit organizations strengthen operations and plan for future needs.

Coastal Roots Farm is a community farm and education center focused on sustainable agriculture, food access and farm-based education. Casa de Amistad provides tutoring, mentoring and enrichment programs for underserved youths and families in coastal North San Diego County.

Amplified’s expanded program comes as nonprofits face growing demands, limited resources and a rapidly changing operating environment.

According to Amplified, its fall cycle marks a significant expansion of its work. Just a few years ago, the organization was launching fewer than 10 consulting teams over the course of an entire year. More than 60 nonprofit consulting teams were active across the region in 2025, which the organization described as its busiest year to date.

“Seventeen teams in a single cycle would have been hard to imagine just a few years ago,” Amplified Impact Partners CEO Erica Halpern said in a news release. “At a time when nonprofits are being asked to do more and respond to increasingly complex challenges, strengthening the organizations behind those missions has never been more important.”

The expansion is part of Amplified’s Vision 2030 strategic plan, which calls for the organization to support more nonprofits over the next five years than it did during its first 25 years combined. Amplified Impact Partners, founded in 2001, provides strategic consulting support to nonprofits across San Diego County.
